Are you a friendly, patient, detail-oriented person? Looking to get involved in a caring organization that’s making a real impact in our community? Join the New Hope team!

Volunteer Process

New Hope Clinic is a volunteer-driven organization. Our volunteers fulfill critical roles that keep our organization running safely, legally, efficiently, and compassionately to provide much needed patient-centered care for members of our community. You, the volunteer, essentially run the clinic. We ask that you take your valuable role as seriously as we do and treat it much like you would a “real” job!

  • 1. Fill out and submit an application

  • 2. Receive a call or email from a volunteer coordinator

  • 3. Application & references approved

  • 4. Privacy & safety orientation

  • 5. Training & shadowing for your position

  • 6. Sign up online for volunteer shifts

To become a volunteer, start by filling out an application form online or a paper version we have at the Clinic.

After you have filled out your volunteer application, you will receive a phone call or email from a volunteer coordinator who will talk to you about the current available volunteer opportunities and ask some interview questions. Once your application has cleared, your references have been checked, and licenses are verified (as applicable) you will have a privacy and safety orientation at the main clinic site or virtually. Following your orientation, you will be set up for individual training and shadowing for your position!

After you are fully trained, for most positions, you will have access to the online scheduling program to pick dates and times that work for you. We understand you have responsibilities outside of the clinic that may take precedence. For most positions, however, we request that you volunteer at least two 4-hour shifts per month.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a two-way street. Our outstanding volunteers help us provide critical services to the community, but they also enjoy the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Are you ready for this experience?
